Modern Finance in the Digital Age is a research report commissioned by Oracle in collaboration with Financial Executives International, that explores the new finance best practices CFOs are adopting in the Digital Age to create modern finance organizations that are better equipped to support more agile, technology-enabled business models and stronger C-suite collaboration.

The research was shaped by in-depth interviews with over 20 leading chief financial officers (CFOs), finance executives, and third-party experts from across all major global geographies.

Prior to joining Oracle over 10 years ago, Mike acquired experience in a variety of Financial positions with a diverse group of companies in the transportation, chemical, and high tech electronics industries. Mike’s most recent position was a Corporate Controller for a multi-national $1.5 Billion publicly traded Electronics Company. Mike was the Project Manager responsible for the selection and implementation of Oracle Financials, Incentive Compensation, Procurement, Inventory, Financial Analyzer, ADI, and Discoverer. In addition to implementing Oracle’s EBS, Mike has implemented a private process manufacturing application, Hyperion Enterprise, and Platinum Accounting Software.

Mike has had the opportunity to work in almost every facet of a international company, investing in customer focus activities with Sales and Marketing, new product introductions with Engineering, pay for performance programs with Human Resources and Payroll, establishing new product standards with Manufacturing, and evaluating software requirements for the United States, Mexican, European, and Asian operations. This knowledge and experience allows him to recognize our customer’s problems, and craft and present solutions to any and all levels within an organization.

While a Principal Sales Consultant, Mike delivered many value based presentations to customers in the industrial manufacturing, transportation, retail, wholesale distribution, hospitality, insurance, and software industries.
