Gerry is a professional management consultant and principal of The Remington Group, LLC Manufacturing Management Consultants. He directs the firm’s practices in Lean Manufacturing and Supply Chain Management. Mr. Najarian is a business executive and management consultant with more than forty-five years experience in manufacturing operations and finance. Prior to his association with The Remington Group, he was a management consulting partner in a “big four” accounting firm and was the chief financial officer of a publicly held manufacturing and distribution company. On a recent leave-of absence from the firm, he served as the CEO of a surgical device manufacturing company.Mr. Najarian is a specialist in the economics of manufacturing operations. Much of his work as a consultant and executive pertains to the financial implications inherent in the organization of manufacturing and supply operations. With this focus, he brings a wide range of potential solutions such as Lean Manufacturing, Activity Based Costing, Supply Chain analysis and, ERP systems appropriately combined to create the optimal economic environment in client operations.Mr. Najarian is a frequent speaker and author on topics related to the economics of manufacturing and supply issues. His recent articles on procurement management, supply chain management and lean manufacturing appear in Mid Range ERP, IOMA Inventory Report, Financial Executive, NJBIZ and APICS The Performance Advantage magazines. He is active in such professional associations as The Association for Manufacturing Excellence, The Institute of Management Accountants, Financial Executives International of which he is a past chapter president and area vice president/national board member, and APICS, which he is a past chapter president. A Certified Public Accountant, Mr. Najarian received a BBA from Iona College and an MBA from the Baruch College of the City University of New York
