And, may it find you learning new things, sharing insights, and reconnecting with colleagues and friends at CFO Studio events! From Executive Dinners to Recep- tions to the CFO Innovation Conference, 2015 will certainly be a year of great events at CFO Studio! In 2015, CFO Studio will launch three separate Executive Dinner Series initiatives: for Small, Family-Owned, and Privately Held Company CFOs (revenues under $50 million); Middle Market Company CFOs (revenues between $50 million and $1 billion); and for World-Class Company CFOs (revenues over $1 billion). Each Executive Dinner Series will include not more than 20 CFOs in attendance and extremely accomplished executives as discussion leaders. Harald Henn, CFO of Mercedes-Benz USA and Rich Veldran, Global CFO of Dun & Bradstreet will lead our first and second World- Class Companies CFO Dinners, respectively. CFO Studio Receptions will be equally exciting, and as always, will honor the cover story CFOs for each quarter. We’ll hold the Q1 Reception, honoring Curt Allen, CFO of Subaru, at the Galloping Hill Golf Course, Kenilworth, NJ, on March 24th. Please join us! The Q2 Reception will honor Finalists in the CFO Innovation Award competition. The CFO Innovation Conference and Awards will be held on May 12 at MetLife Stadium, and will include a full day of panels and presentations on leadership, innovation, developing actionable intelligence, knowledge sharing, and more, with presentations by some very impressive executives. Promotional partners include the New York Jets, WithumSmith+Brown, Bank of America Merrill Lynch, YorkTel, and others. Topping it off will be dinner on the 50-yard line (How cool will that be?!), the CFO Innovation Awards Ceremony, and an after-party with music by Southside Johnny and the Asbury Jukes! We expect more than 500 CFOs to attend. Over 200 are already pre- registered. Register now at www.CFOStudio.com to reserve your seat. Like all CFO Studio events, attendance at the CFO Innovation Conference and Awards is free to CFOs! This is the first year for the CFO Innovation Awards, and we are extremely pleased to have received 63 nominations for small, medium, and world-class company CFOs. The CFO Innovation Awards audit partner, WithumSmith+Brown, will validate nominations, and an independent committee of CFOs will select Finalists and Winners. We’ll announce Finalists in Q2, and will announce Winners at the CFO Innovation Conference and Awards. That will be a great day! We’re extremely pleased with this issue of CFO Studio magazine. I hope you enjoy the cover story on Curt Allen and articles on “Fostering New Ideas” and “When Coca-Cola Changed Course.” Craig Steeneck, CFO of Pinnacle Foods, and Bernd-Peter “Berry” Bier, U.S. CFO, Bayer Corporation, will appear in Q3 and Q4 cover stories, respectively, and will be honored at Receptions later this year.
