|Bio:Robert M. Segin, CPA, was promoted to executive vice president of finance for Virtua in September 2010. Segin is responsible for strategic financial planning, investments, accounting management, managed care, health information management, audit, compliance and support services functions. He served as vice president of finance and chief finance officer from 1998. Mr. Segin previously served as CFO for Virtua-West Jersey Health System. Prior to joining the health system, Segin was a senior auditor at the firm of Pannell Kerr Forster.|
Segin is a certified public accountant (CPA) in the states of New Jersey and Pennsylvania. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants, the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and the Healthcare Financial Management Association.
Segin serves on the Investment, Finance and Audit & Compliance Committees of the New Jersey Hospital Association. He also serves as a committee member with the March of Dimes. Segin received a bachelor of science in accounting degree from the Pennsylvania State University in University Park.
